This was fun. I am now mostly retired from Where's Willy?®.

Profile:
I don't remember how I got started. I either found a marked bill, stumbled across the site by accident, or read about bill tracking from somewhere.
I spent five years entering every bill I could get my hands on. Eventually I achieved all the goals I had set for myself, and ran out of steam. I am now mostly retired from entering bills. I make an annual comeback in January for Sawbuck Month, and enter the odd bill or two throughout the year; mostly old series bills I find.
I mark my bills like this:
I think the two-tone ink really pays off! I have one of the highest hit rates on the site.
The Very Best Where's Willy? Marking Pens
Staedtler Lumocolor permanent overhead pens are the best! The ink dries fast, doesn't run or bleed through, and is completely waterproof, so there'll be no fading from all those sweaty fingers.
On November 25th 2006 I became the first Willier to get a hit on one of each denomination/series combination. Catch me if you can! Click the links to see my first hits on each.
On April 23 2007, I got the last hit I needed to complete Provincial/Territorial Bingo, and Lucky 14 Capital City Bingo, with my hit in Iqaluit. I'm only the third Willier to reach that goal!
Did you ever wonder how the Bank of Canada chooses the prefixes for bills? Is there any sense to it at all? Yes! My Prefix Table explains it all, and also has a complete list of prefixes for all bills that can be entered on Where's Willy?. This is a PDF file and you will need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.
